Jordin Brianna Sparks (born December 22, 1989) is a finalist in American Idol 2007. Jordin is a singer, actress, and model from Glendale, Arizona.
Jordin Sparks appeared on the January 17, 2007 audition episode of American Idol. After her audition, Jordin earned a “gold ticket” to go to Hollywood and continue her quest to be the 2007 American Idol.
Jordin is a favorite in this year’s American Idol competition. American Idol judge Randy Jackson has made a prediction that “Curly hair will win this year.” which we believe was made in reference to Sparks.
Before auditioning for American Idol, Jordin Sparks won the Arizona Idol competition.
In 2006, Jordin Sparks was one of two winners of the Phoenix Torrid search for the “Next Plus Size Model”. Jordin flew out to California and modeled for a number of ads and promotions.
Jordin also achieved second place in the 2004 “Music in the Rockies” competition for aspiring Contemporary Christian Music artists.
Jordin Sparks recorded an album titled For Now in 2003. The album consisted of five songs and was recorded when she was only thirteen years old. She also appeared in an album called “Live at Mr. Lucky’s” in 2004.
